About me - English
I grew up in Tuscany, in the heart of Italy, the mythical place where modern Italian was formed.
I grew up bilingual, Italian and French, and throughout my life I have always been surrounded by people speaking different languages. The fascination of understanding and being understood by people from distant countries has always been strong, and this pushed me very early on to want to learn new languages.
During my studies in foreign languages, numerous travels and work abroad, the desire to share my knowledge and experience in language learning was born in me, as I consider it a noble opportunity to help others overcome all the challenges I have faced myself and which I have overcome with the help and support of excellent teachers.
I still love to travel and today I combine my job with my passions, namely discover new cultures, read, training, cooking, exchange thoughts and share beautiful stories.
Qualifications & Experience
I graduated in foreign languages and linguistics (Russian and German) at the University of Venice in 2022.
I taught Italian to Russian students in Saint-Petersburg (3 year) - adults and kids - individual and classes up to 15 people,
Freelance teaching of Italian and French (5 years) through private lessons via digital platforms and face-to-face classes:
- Planning a specific learning route adapted to the students needs
- Helping +20 students to pass their certification's exam(CILS, Celi, Plida)
- Organisation of cultural events related to the Italian language in Saint-Petersburg
- Weekly conversation club of Italian and French (online)
Teaching Approach
I offer classes for anyone who wants to start learning a language from scratch or for those who already have a certain level (A.1 A.2 B.1 B.2 C.1 C.2) and want to improve it.
We will first assess your level together, and then build training around your needs, objectives and interests. Classes are held in a working and friendly atmosphere, in an Italian manner, although I demand seriousness.
I use communicative techniques in my teaching, with a focus on speaking, reading, listening, writing practice, giving insight into the differences in Italian dialects.
It is possible to organise group lessons and organise a complete course to reach a concrete level.
