Hi, I am Neha Khilwani and I am thrilled to be your Spanish teacher!

I believe that language learning should be fun, engaging and tailored to the needs of each individual student.

I have obtained various certifications and diplomas in language teaching, including a CELTA certification from Cambridge University and DELE B1 and B2 diplomas in the Spanish language from Instituto Cervantes. In addition, I hold a Bachelor's degree in Science from Mumbai University and a Master's degree in Counseling and Psychotherapy from Tamil Nadu Open University.

Over the last decade, I have gained extensive experience in teaching languages and soft skills to students from diverse backgrounds and of different age groups. Currently, I work as a Master Trainer and Content Developer for Pathways at Sol's ARC NGO, where I design curriculum, train teachers, and create specialized pedagogy based on Sol's ARC Framework. I have also honed my skills in online teaching and content development as an English Content Developer and Tutor.

My previous work experience includes teaching English at an International School in Mumbai, and tutoring in Mumbai. I have also worked as a Spanish language and English language trainer and translator at Instituto Hispania Mumbai, International Academy of Languages Mumbai, and Language Campus in La Laguna, Spain.

To stay up-to-date with the latest teaching methodologies, I actively participate in online webinars and workshops. Moreover, I possess excellent language proficiency in English, Spanish, Hindi, and Sindhi. I am proficient in Marathi and have a beginner's level in French and German. I am always eager to leverage my language skills and expertise in teaching to help students accomplish their language goals.

As your Spanish teacher, I am committed to providing you with an engaging and interactive learning experience. My approach focuses on making language learning practical and relevant to real-life situations. To achieve this, I incorporate a range of activities, such as role-playing, discussions, and games that encourage communication.

Throughout my classes, I use authentic materials like Spanish poems, news articles, movie clips, and even comic strips to create a dynamic learning environment. At every level of language learning, I encourage my students to communicate and interact in the target language, as this is the primary goal of language learning.

Having lived in Spain for an extended period of time, I am well-versed in the cultural values and everyday life of Spaniards. I share this knowledge with my students to enhance their understanding of the language and its context.

Listening and reading are essential elements of language learning, and I ensure that my students receive ample practice in these areas. By the end of just 40 hours, my students can read, infer, and even speak in Spanish.

I understand that all learners have unique needs and learning styles. Therefore, I tailor my classes to meet the individual needs of each student, ensuring excellent results. My goal is to create a learning environment where students can enjoy themselves while simultaneously learning a lot.
