My name is May and I’m an English teacher from Ecuador. I have experience teaching English to students of different ages and levels, from young children to adults. I enjoy creating engaging and interactive lessons that help students feel confident while learning a new language.

As a non-native speaker myself, I understand the challenges of learning English, and I’m here to support you every step of the way. My goal is to make classes fun, practical, and adapted to your personal needs and learning style.

I hold a degree in Education and I have a C1 level of English. I have experience working with children, teenagers, and adults in both online and in-person settings.

Currently, I teach English and provide personalized classes focused on communication, grammar, and vocabulary.

Depending on the student’s goals, I incorporate grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and cultural context in a practical way. My aim is to help students improve their fluency, comprehension, and overall communication skills through meaningful and enjoyable learning experiences.

Tengo experiencia enseñando a estudiantes de diferentes edades y niveles, tanto en clases individuales como grupales. Me apasiona la enseñanza porque me permite compartir no solo el idioma, sino también las costumbres y expresiones de nuestra cultura hispanohablante.

Soy licenciada en Pedagogía, con certififcacion C2 en español. Tengo experiencia enseñando tanto en clases presenciales como virtuales.

He trabajado con niños, adolescentes y adultos. En mis clases combino la gramática, el vocabulario y la conversación, con actividades prácticas.

Además, tengo experiencia ayudando a los estudiantes a mejorar sus habilidades de comunicación en contextos académicos o laborales.

Mi metodología se basa en un enfoque comunicativo y centrado en el estudiante. Creo que aprender un idioma debe ser una experiencia práctica, dinámica y significativa. Por eso, diseño clases según los objetivos, intereses y nivel de cada estudiante.

Utilizo materiales auténticos, juegos, canciones, lecturas, ejercicios interactivos y herramientas digitales para desarrollar las cuatro habilidades: comprensión auditiva, lectura, expresión oral y escrita.

Me gusta crear un ambiente de confianza donde el estudiante se sienta cómodo para equivocarse, aprender y mejorar. Además, doy retroalimentación constante y explicaciones claras para que el aprendizaje sea progresivo y motivador.
